I wanted to visit Italy because of my work in the theatre.

After studying art and theatre history in graduate school, I was eager to see theatre ruins and other remnants of Roman life.

My work in theatre and film is usually comedic so I was thrilled to see my muse of comedy, Thalia, at the Vatican museum.

I loved the art in Rome but our visit to the museum of Etruscan art in Volterra was even more powerful. I fell in love with these ancient sculptures.

Rick didn't expect it but he was also greatly moved by the art, especially at the Vatican and Borghese museums, where he took many photos. But Rick's chief passion was gelato! His goal was to compare gelateries in every city.
